Zadar is a Croatian city of some 90,000 inhabitants, and is located on the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia, to the north of Split, and facing the Ugljan and Pasman Islands. From the islands, the city is separated by the Strait of Zadar. It is the fifth city in population in the country, and most of its inhabitants are Croatians.
