Inside literature, we should mention names from the period of the 15th and 16th centuries. There was Jerolim Vidolić, or Petar Zoranić without forgetting other names like Juraj Barakovic or Šime Budinić.
During the 19th century, Zadar was the centre of culture for the world, on the Dalmatian Coast, for Italians, and for Croatians. Today there are many places you can visit to see the cultural side of Zadar.
